Today, city of South Fulton Fire Rescue FF Nix, FF Miller, Fire Sgt. Carden and Batt. Chief Willis attended a birthday party ride by with Engine 4 in the Highland Oaks Dr. community across from Westlake High School. COSF Fire Rescue was requested to do a #rideby as a part of a child’s 5th birthday party. Even Marshall from #marshallpawpatrol made a special guest appearance as well. #sffr #cosf #firefamily #fireinthecommunity
At 0800 hours, Sergeants (fire engineers), firefighters, lieutenants and captains all from South Fulton - GA Fire Rescue received instruction on apparatus inspection practices. We all are our brothers’ keeper so a thoroughly checked apparatus is a safe apparatus!

CONGRATULATIONS to these young ladies who finished South Fulton - GA Fire Rescue’s Camp E.M.B.E.R.S. Day 3 was completed followed by a graduation ceremony for these brave and phenomenal young ladies. Thank you to not only the parents and the participants of the program but to the partnering agencies that allowed their staff to help make this camp a success! Those agencies are City of South Fulton Police Department, Coweta County Fire Rescue, City of South Fulton, GA Communications Division, all guest speakers and of course our very own civilian and sworn staff of the South Fulton (Ga.) Fire Rescue Department led by Fire Chief Chad Jones.
Big thanks to Irene Lee for inviting COSF Scholar Ginny Jingyi Wang to attend a fabulous Oxford and Cambridge Society junk trip in Hong Kong over the summer. It's wonderful to see the Society's President Andrew Haskins and Committee Member Arun Nigam give a warm welcome to Ginny who was on a short visit to the city.
COSF Scholar Sabrina Chu Xu is one of 5 young Chinese women featured in the October 2012 Cosmopolitan China Edition on talented women studying abroad.
G-ACGL Comper CLA7 Swift, constructed in 1933, serial number S/11. Flown by Alex Henshaw when he won the Kings Cup Air Race at Hatfield, in July 1933. Then restored in the last few years by Skysport Engineering from Wolverhampton, from discovered remains. G-ACGL is now on display in Hangar 1 at the Cosford Air Museum.
