If you say it really fast, it sounds like a fat man running in corduroys.

In the heart of the East Kootenays there lies a place I love, Kimberley Mountain Resort (Northstar Mountain). It is one of the only spots that has been consistent in my life. With all the moving and job transfers, Kimberley was always waiting with it's amazing views and laid back lifestyle. It's the kind of place that makes you feel at home, even though you are just visiting. I am now lucky enough to live in the place I have loved since that first trip when I was five and I don't believe I will be leaving anytime soon.
It's been a very orange weekend.
Found this chair at the Salvation Army. Tag reads "something something custom upholstery, Palm Beach, CA"
Someday I might re-upholster it, but it just hapens to match the orange wall exactly. what are the odds?
I love this, but can't help but feel that it'd have been a stronger image if I'd waited a fraction of a second longer, and captured that eye contact. It's not inspector gadget is it?

Minimalism, designs, lines...these kinds of things I love but can be difficult to find in "pure" states. There are some details if you zoom in, but this still has a great pattern, which is what drew me to the scene in the first place!
Ribbed
This was a place to make a joke about Trojan condoms, but I’ll let you imagine it.
Originally, I had planned on wearing a hot pink sweater with my corduroy Valentine outfit, but the day was too warm. I swapped it for a lace top, instead.

Corduroy Cargo Legging
Velvety ribs
Calling this material “corduroy” might be a bit of a stretch. I’d say it’s more like ribbed velvet. Still a lovely texture.
My corduroy cargo leggings arrived today, so I immediately removed my skinny jeans and put these on instead. I realize skinny anything is now out of style, especially with knee-high boots, but how else do you get that Han Solo look?
Cardiga, Merona (thrifted). Darth Vader sweater, thrifted. Leggings, Felina. Boots, Vince Camuto. Hat, Disney.
