The waters at Bukal Falls in Majayjay, Laguna originate from the streams at Mt. Banahaw. These waters are cool and clear. Visitors can even refill their drinking bottles at a pipe used to bring down water from a water source higher up.

This Rivercat is 'Nicole Livingstone'. Nicole Livingstone was an Australlian swimmer who I had not actually ever heard of before seeing this Rivercat and 'Googling' the name. So she cannot have been too famous, lol. But anyway, they named a Rivercat after her.

A photo taken last Saturday of our local bison trying to stay cool by a large pond at Jester Park in Polk County, Iowa. In 1870, the last pair of wild bison were spotted just west of Spirit Lake, Iowa. Now, this is one of the few captive herds scattered around the state.

A brief shower gave a little but welcome relief to my very hot garden, this morning. Each petal of the Dahlia looks like a little tongue coming out to drink the raindrops :) /
