Easily my best shot so far. Captured in the streets of Melbourne.
This moment unfolded in a split second right in front of me. I saw the frame and just reacted by instinct. It wasn't until I looked back at the photo later that I realized how heavy the context actually was.
The irony of the sign, "Hill of Content", makes it almost surreal. While the name suggests a state of satisfaction, the frame captures the two extremes of city life crossing paths. The man in the sharp suit isn't just walking by; he's looking right at the homeless man sitting against the wall.
That look between them, right under that sign, says it all. It makes you stop and wonder who is actually "content," and exposes that city divide we usually ignore in a way that’s impossible to miss.
Really proud of this one.
Philippians 4:11 “Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content.”

Only in struggle can find what we truly desire.
This day was one of the warmest it has been in a long time- hense why this guy's outside.
He hates the winter, but he will sit here contently on the warmer days.
The Orion Nebula is a picture book of star formation, from the massive, young stars shaping the nebula to the pillars of dense gas that may be the homes of budding stars. The Trapezium resides in the bright central region. Ultraviolet light unleashed by these stars carves a cavity in the emission nebula and disrupts the growth of hundreds of smaller stars.

Went down and visited with my Dad this evening ... sunset had potential to be colorful, but then fizzled out quickly.
But then pulled out the Canon flash and took some captures indoors bouncing the flash. I gelled the flash CTO to match the lighting there in the room.
Captured my schnoodle sitting there quite content in my Dad's lap. Both looked quite happy.
