I've been talking about how dream today has been and so, I thought it was perfect for some self portrait therapy.
It was super awkward because I had multiple homeless people approach me and ask me what I was doing, then they proceed to stare directly for a good 5 minutes...lol
May 4, 2018 - UCI Community Resilience Projects co-sponsored a panel discussion on “Cultivating Consciousness and Environmental Justice in Acjachemen and Tongva Homelands.” The panel was the keynote event following a day-long visit to UC Irvine of approximately 50 high school students from southern California Native Nations. During their visit, UCI students from the Global Sustainability Resource Center took the students on a campus sustainability tour. The tour also visited laboratories in the departments of Earth System Science and Physics, where students met with Drs. Kathleen Johnson and Franklin Dollar, two Native faculty members who were part of the host committee. After the keynote panel discussion, the day culminated with a Native Community Dinner to honor the visiting students.
