This American Redstart would show his tail , then his head. He could not figure out which side of the fence he wanted to be on.
Some days you seem so close
like you stand right before me
But then the next day you seem so far
like each other we can't see,
Each day is like a roller coaster
with my stomach turning upside down
You stand there looking
but yet you don't utter a sound,
I feel so confused and
my heart is being torn at its seams
And every night that I sleep
you seem to linger in my dreams,
Every time I look at you
I forget all my thoughts
And right then and there
it's you that my heart has sought,
Every time I think
it turns into something bad
So for right now I'll stop thinking
And maybe things won't end up sad......
Months of drought, caught up on a year's worth of rainfall in two weeks, to below freezing temps for days, and now from 25 degrees to 60 degrees in 12 hours.......
Only in Tennessee. But the result is beautiful sometimes.

This is the coner of an office block in Manchester. The two different sides of the building make the image look like two square photos put together.
from the paddy fields of Kuttanad, caught this wonderful person, a farmer with a confused look on his face!!

With all the rain but 90+F weather, it must work like an hot-house! The tulip tree is reblooming and these Easter lilies are finally in bloom! No complaints from me! :-)
Another from London, this is one of the exits at Canary Wharf tube station in London.
I took a load of shots from this spot as it was a real trick getting everything to line up in a way that worked. You would think composing with a fisheye is a relatively simple task and typically it is, but when you have lots of converging lines it can get quite tricky.
Nearly the weekend ... finally! Putting the tree up with my boys on Saturday which should help get grumpy me back on track! Not been out with my camera for a couple of weeks has not helped.
Anyway, this is my last post of the week, so have yourselves a great weekend! :-)
As a budding photographer, it is my realisation that the best facial expressions , possibly dictated by the simplicity of thoughts, are rendered by the children and the elderly people. I took this photo while I was travelling AP, India.
Just a clever mural in a corner beside a little Chinese Restaurant in Chinatown, Victoria, BC, Canada
It is the the oldest Chinatown in Canada and the second oldest in North America after San Francisco's.

Along with some pink striped Morning Glories, I planted these Moon flowers. They are supposed to be night bloomers, but this one opened up this morning. I think white flowers are so beautiful.
...in the mid-air. Which flower to go?
This, that or that...
