Maybe it isn't too late for a new year's bright and hopeful beginning? After all, it's all just calendars to keep count of the time that we're flowing with. We could always begin again with the rising sun (which was pretty much my resolution for a brand new life that I had in my mind all along), and start with the rays of hope, walk with hopes and pride and confidence, and get tired after a long day to fall back to sleep for a rest to our body n soul. But alas! that's just life in a nutshell, I wrote!
New changes, I guess that's what we're looking for!
ps. what was your new year's resolution, if any? how do you not turn 80 in 25?

This is a fledging Peregrine on an eight story window ledge trying to regain its confidence to fly again. In last week's post, Florence (name provided by a bander) was just holding on, but here, taken on the same day, she has begun to regain confidence in her wings and soon would fly again.
By this week, she and her siblings were Peregrine masters of the skies.

I tell my street workshop attendees that confidence is key, exuding confidence means that you are much less likely to be challenged for your street shooting. In this case, as I often experience, this young woman thanked me - flattered that I had chosen her for a candid shot. Enjoy!

There's something about this project that gives me confidence I didn't think I had, it opens up different concepts and ideas in my head, it makes me think more, and often times I truly feel like I have a twin. If I'm so happy with this project already at day 37 i'm so excited for the rest of it!

I always tell people that "confidence is key" when shooting street, you are less likely to ever be challenged if you look confident in what you are doing, but in this case it also helps to have a confident subject. Enjoy!

I knew one thing for sure when we left the house, it was going to be a good one, what I didn't know was whether or not we would make it in time. Thankfully, as you can tell, we did indeed make it for the peak color in the sunset. Something that I have realized, is that I often have more confidence in the conditions I see in the weather than I have confidence of the One who made the weather. Should I not have more confidence in God to make a beautiful sunset than to trust a weather forecast which is wrong 90% of the time anyway. I pray that our confidence would rest in Christ rather than the current conditions of life which are ever changing.

A long-term presence in an environment/space makes us adjust to, familiar with and even turn a blind eye to ourselves. Unfortunately, we feel it should be like this.
However, there will be some time, we get shocked suddenly. It seems that there is an invisible force which controls ourselves in a parasitic way. Gradually, the self-awareness is eroded.
Occasionally, we begin to doubt ourselves, having no confidence in ourselves. Thus, we begin to doubt our cognitive.
The work is intended to express such a state.
