After a couple of weeks #AFK

Xenodream with a computerpainting as background.

Estou entre os 15 da shortlist na categoria "Estudante" do 3º Desafio Cultural de Design Computer Arts Brasil.

Veja os 15 selecionados para a shortlist.

Created in Fractal Explorer 2.02.

Funny what treasures turn up during a close examination of an old hard drive.

A background I created with an older program called "Oxidizer." It's kind of a hit-or-miss type program; it either creates what I'm looking for right away or takes forever to get something somewhat close to the appearance and elements I'm looking for.

This is a re-edited version of a fractal created years ago. It was created in Ultra Fractal. It sorely needed sharpening and more contrast.

Added to the fractal were the two WW1 airplanes, the thumbtack-like propeller hub, and of course Terry-Thomas, the irrepressible pilot.

You might have to squint a bit to see the spider. :-)

This book is a fascinating document from the beginning of the computer graphics age. Published in 1975, it profiles a number of artists who worked with computers. Back then doing anything visual on a computer involved long and complicated processes. This book belonged to my father (he wrote his name on the cover), in 1975 he was teaching art history and filmmaking at the University of Wisconsin Whitewater.

Computer art created in Ultra Fractal.

fiquei muito contente com essa participação, a computer arts é uma revista que eu acompanho praticamente desde que comecei minha carreira, e ver trabalhos meus publicados ali é realmente realizador!!
