The highly pigmented, synthetic hues within this composition act, as a broken mask. Broken in the sense that the woman's inner emotions are evident on her exterior. The synthetic hues reflect the fake and superficial needs of a western society. Like plastic she is solid but when heat is added she begins to melt.
This will be the first part of my exploration. Miniature brightly colored compositions. Basic and complex shapes.
This was the door of a shop in Walnut Creek.
