After a day of rain, sleet and snow a window of brilliance opened up just as the sun was setting, which caught me a bit off guard. I was driving down the road between Sandy and Troutdale, Oregon when the show began. In a bit of a panic and wanting to find a comp these rows of plastic prrotecting new Strawberry plants passed by in my peripheral vision. I slammed on the brakes and pulled over for this shot.
As soon as the suns set the clouds closed back up again.
This was like a gift.

Opened in 1737 and still a hotel after seven generations of the same family running it.
There's a good reason for that and it's well worth a visit for the friendly staff & superb food.
