Look at how these awkward jeans made such cute shorts! my mother says that in the early '60s there weren't many options when it came to jeans. People had to work with plain old work pants to make young and fresh looks.

I found that boys or mens classic fit plain old cotton work pants with no stretch had the right high rise look to make jeans like you find at Urban Outfitters or NastyGal. The price was more suited for my budget too. (tutorial)
