I stopped by Cole Run Falls in Somerset County at 4:30 p.m in the rain and about 30 minutes before it turned completely black due to daylight savings time.
I broke yet another Little Stopper on this visit as I fell in the rain ... but at least it was AFTER I snapped this shot. (That's 2 this year!!)
Single shot processed in Lightroom.

Des Moines Township No. 7 is also known as the Cole School. It’s a one-room, red brick schoolhouse in NE Boone County, Iowa. Built in 1888, it served grades 1-8 in this rural area. The building also served as a voting place, a community center, and a storm shelter until the Great Depression when many families left the farms and the school closed in 1933. This school is now a living history museum and is open Sunday afternoons 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. June through August (or by appointment).
It was a bit challenging to get a good shot of this old school without including the numerous utility poles and aerial wires in the vicinity. Regardless, it was interesting to track down this historical site and compose a half-way decent shot of this historic old schoolhouse.

Eric Kirkham Cole was the founder of the British electronics company Ekco, probably best known for its bakelite wireless sets. This statue is in the new housing development called Ekco Park in Southend-on-Sea, Essex, England.

Covered in Vines - Cole Creek School - About six miles south of Hermann, Missouri. A log constructed building from the nineteenth century which was in use into the 1950's.
A quick trip to Jefferson City offered a few photo opportunities. This is the third Cole County Courthouse, built in 1897 and designed by local architect Frank B. Miller, in Romanesque Revival style. It featured fire-proof vaults for storing county records which proved useful when the courthouse burned in 1918.
I decided to sit down last night and make a list of my dolls that haven't been photographed in a while, and I'm working my way through photographing them all. Cole hasn't had a picture taken of him by himself in nearly two years! So here's ya boy.

This is the 3rd and final view of Cole Run Falls. It is also my favorite as there is a root that creates an arch about 16" off the ground and creates a perfect frame for the waterfall. Not sure who first discovered this POV but I was inspired by it. I guess this is why we follow fellow photogs.

I once took a seminar through U C Santa Cruz, put on by Cole Weston at his home and studio south of Carmel, Ca. His house was pretty modest for someone as well known as he was. The main floor was just a living room and kitchen. The second floor was just a loft, with this den space adjoined by his bedroom. Center is desk and chair that belonged to Edward Weston, Cole's father. His studio was in a separate structure. A third structure served as a gallery. It was a remote location in the hills just east of the ocean and south of Point Lobos, the famous Weston photo area. Sorry for the poor quality image, as it was handheld in low light.

This little boy is my nieces child.. his name is Cole.. He went on his first fishing trip with us when we were visiting Livingston Montana.. He unfortunately spend most of his time falling down and playing in the sand..
I was there to pick him up when he fell down and cried.. He reminded me so much of one that I dearly love and miss...

My nephew Cole came down for a while, we chatted up about finances, and liquidating some assets. Then I took this and a couple other photos of him.
This is Cole's mech, based on the earth element, but powerd by ghost energy, it is earthbound, but it makes up for it with raw power, with its flexible but powerfull arms, which can be turned to energy cannons, it also has a claw that turns into a shuriken. but it's main weapon is the Spirit dagger, which turns into a mace for Cole.
This build was super fun, I tried to mix both the earth and ghost themes from Cole, and I think it looks really nice, and love that heavy feel the bulky arms add.
So, what do you think? Nia, Jay and Pirate mechs still pending.
