A mural of Montreal icon, Leonard Cohen. He would be my all time favourite songwriter and poet.
This piece of art was created by artist Gene Pendon and El Mac. It apparently took 13 assistant artists, 240 cans of paint and thousands of hours of work. It is over 10,000 square-feet and rises 21 storeys.

Como decía Lorca, el poeta, el artista es siempre anarquista; su talento apolítico, su poder hipnotizador, la combinación del pecado y la salvación, del amor y el desamor, la amalgama de contradicciones y la incertidumbre, su mantra personal.
Desde que lo descubrí en mi adolescencia y hasta hoy, siempre fue un referente. Sus formas, su carisma, su espiritualidad, su porte, su arte.
No recuerdo muchos momentos tan especiales como aquel 15 de septiembre de 2009 fila 6, casi a su lado en el concierto Live in London de Zaragoza.
Para ese viejo de seductor fedora con el que crecí, ...en mis espacios vivirás para siempre. Hineni, hineni.

Het Huis Cohen (ook huis met de paarse - of blauwe - ruiten) is een monumentaal bouwwerk aan de Zuidsingel in Amersfoort. Het monumentale pand aan de Zuidsingel was aan het begin van de achttiende eeuw in bezit van de Amersfoortse burgemeester Temmink In 1780 kocht de Amersfoortse bankier en tabakshandelaar Benjamin Cohen het pand van de weduwe Temmink. De gevel van het pand is bekleed met hardsteen, dat is voor Nederland vrij zeldzaam. De ramen van het pand hebben hun kenmerkende paarse kleur gekregen door het mangaan, dat in het glas verwerkt is en dat door de invloed van het licht een blauw/paarse verkleuring laat zien. Het pand is sinds 1966 een rijksmonument.
Huis Cohen (also called the house with the purple - or blue - windows) is a monumental building on the Zuidsingel in Amersfoort. The monumental building on the Zuidsingel was owned by the mayor of Amersfoort Temmink at the beginning of the eighteenth century. In 1780, the Amersfoort banker and tobacco merchant Benjamin Cohen bought the building from the widow Temmink. The facade of the building is covered with bluestone, which is quite rare in the Netherlands. The windows of the building have their characteristic purple color due to the manganese, which is processed in the glass and which shows a blue/purple discoloration due to the influence of the light. The building has been a national monument since 1966.

I'm not good with a brush or pen so I've chosen the type of painting I try my hand at from time to time.
It was difficult for me to choose the music because the list of favorite songs is not short.
