Dehusked coconuts. Farmers may sell direct or through a middleman. The produce stacked or arranged in blocks and sold wholesale after some bargaining at an agreeable price to prospective buyers, some as far as Bali, Surabaya and Malang.

 

Cocos nucifera L. Arecaceae. CN: [Malay - Kelapa, Nyior, Nyior gading], Coconut, Coconut palm, Copra. Native of the Malesia ecozone, Vanuatu and naturalized elsewhere pan-tropically.
