Its my most favourite place and I hope you like it.
I havent been doing a lot of photography lately. All tied up with covid and a shoulder injury I got a year ago which is something Ill have to put up with. Its not stopping me getting on with life now thankfully and Im back hiking again. Just waiting for the weather to improve as its so wet and stormy here at the moment.

My co-workers at Winneshiek County Conservation sponsor a fishing derby on Lake Meyer every winter around Valentine's Day. It's meant to be a fun event for the whole family to get outside and try to catch a few fish. They kindly give me - the old timer - a cushy job of official weigh-in captain, so I get to see every big fish that's caught. Here's a nice northern pike that won 1st place in its class.

A charming ice-cream / gelato shop in Rome, near the Vatican State, apparently run by a father and son team from Sicily.
These bicycles were not “owned” bicycles, rather, they formed part of the shop-front decor. While clearly staged, the look was very appealing - to me anyways!
