Because the Passaic River flows through a geographically small part of a geographically small state, it doesn't get much notice the way longer and larger rivers, particularly rivers that states get their names from, do. But the flooding of the river from Hurricane Irene was serious enough to warrant attention from CNN.
This CNN satellite truck was parked in the main entrance to The Mill at Little Falls. I didn't see a reporter, though.

Amazingly clean and usable. I am pretty impressed that old skool MSM like CNN actually hired and implemented something like this. The HD video content is great looking... even if I have to watch a commercial first. Can't we get creative like YouTube and put dynamic ads you can remove after watching them? I duno... maybe this model is fine. Especially if someone makes BETTER commercials we'd like to watch. Possible?
