Another from Busy Bees. I just found the way the statue was clutching the rose, to be very emotive.

This is a bit different, because I usually like to upload landscpae photos with beautiful light, sunshine, lovely woodland scenes, rivers... this one seems to be a bit eerie... would you please tell me what you think about the processing?

The driver was alright. He came out safely. It was fascinating to see how he could drive with a broken foot, but then his broken foot was the left one. Also interesting was how he stored and pulled out the crutches in the backseats.

After I went back home, and I counted there are 21 ducklings in the photo. And this mother may act as a "babysitter" for other duckings, because ducks typically lay around 12 eggs per clutch.
Clutch and Grunt take a breather after escaping the wrecked VAMP.
I'm back. About 2 and a half weeks ago I was a passenger in a car accident along with my father. Thankfully the seat belts and airbags saved us from any serious harm. We were very lucky that both of us walked away with just bruises and cuts. The car was totaled. A kid pulled out in front of us at the last second, and we were going about 50 mph on our way home. I'm feeling better but my leg is still not 100% right.

From this osprey cam:
I watched this Northern Pygmy Owl high up in the Oak Tree where he seemed to be resting silently after a few minutes of spotting him. It was hard to see where he was at first since I had to navigate me eye through the leaves. Once I found him, he suddenly dropped down like a lead ball and grabs a Jerusalem Cricket. He made two hops to the left onto a dead branch on the ground and bites the head off and starts munching like Bugs Bunny with a carrot. This is my first time EVER seeing a Northern Pygmy Owl hunt! It was killer watching him eat this bug. He really took his time. I had to kneel down to get these shots. Amazing! Click image for full size rendition :)

One of my favorite garden spiders. Unfortunately, I didn't see her until I damaged her web, but not her. She's quite tiny. Not a good excuse, but all I've got. She'll rebuild and I'll be more mindful.

Special:
- The 32 is basically an improved 600/32 with a bigger and more powerful engine and was redesigned by Johan van der Brugghen (W. van den Brink designed it original in 1955).
- The body was re-styled by Giovanni Michelotti.
- DAF was the first car to have a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) system - the innovative DAF Variomatic: a continuously variable gearbox transmission with an automatic two-stage centrifugal clutch in drum (with "het pientere pookje" - "the smart gear stick").
- An interesting feature: putting the car in reverse reversed the entire drive system. This enabled the vehicle, in theory, to reach the same top speed in reverse as forward.
- Advantage: it was the only small, affordable car with automatic transmission.
- Disadvantage: because the car had an unsportsmanlike image, it had often an "image" for the elderly or disabled people.
- The Series 32 was available as this 2-door Coach, as 2-door Panel Van, as 2-door Estate Wagon and as 2-door Pick-Up.
- They were only assembled in Eindhoven - The Netherlands.

What are the roots that clutch, what branches grow
Out of this stony rubbish? Son of man,
You cannot say, or guess, for you know only
A heap of broken images ....
