The Isle of Man TT Mountain Course or TT Course under heavy cloud[1] is a motorcycle road-racing circuit located in the Isle of Man. The motorcycle TT Course is used principally for the Isle of Man TT Races and also the separate event of the Isle of Man Festival of Motorcycling for the Manx Grand Prix and Classic TT Races held in September of each year.[2] The start-line for the Isle of Man TT Mountain Course is located on Glencrutchery Road in the town of Douglas, Isle of Man.[3]
The clockwise course has a lap of 37.73 miles (60.72 km),[4] from the start line at the TT Grandstand on Glencrutchery Road (A2 Ramsey to Douglas) in the island's main town of Douglas.[3] After negotiating urban streets, the racing circuit turns right to leave Douglas at Quarter Bridge, then proceeds along the A1 Douglas to Peel road through the villages of Braddan, Union Mills, Glen Vine, Crosby, and Greeba. The course then turns right at Ballacraine on to the A3 Castletown to Ramsey road, firstly through countryside glens followed by agricultural land interspersed by the villages of Kirk Michael, Ballaugh and Sulby, finally intersecting with the A18 Snaefell mountain road after negotiating urban streets in the town of Ramsey. The A18 then takes the course back to Douglas through the highest point, situated after the Bungalow at Hailwood's Height near the 31st Milestone and the UK Ordnance Survey spot height of 422 metres (1,385 ft) above sea level. The descent starts through countryside before entering the residential outskirts of Douglas back to the finish line.

All I did was walk into the kitchen with a bouquet of just-snipped catnip. They materialized out of nowhere.

My last photo group outing was something a little different- we shadowed a biologist as she visited nests in Illinois' Pyramid State Park where she is monitoring them. She has located more than 60 nests, and we visited perhaps a dozen. Some had been depredated and the eggs were gone, but she also found some new ones and additional eggs in previously-located nests. It was a cool experience, and helped me to appeciate how resilient birds have to be: the eggs and chicks were removed and documented (note marks on some eggs) and then returned and re-hidden. We carefully returned the vegetation to its original position and made sure to leave in a different direction than that from which we came in the hope that predators would not track our scent back to the sites.

The coins clockwise from the bottom are a dime (10 cents), a nickel (5 cents) , a quarter (25 cents), a loonie (1 dollar) and a penny (1 cent). The penny is no longer made or circulated. Missing are a toonie ( 2 dollars) and a 50 cent piece, which has no nickname of which I am aware, and the 50 cent piece is rare.
The denominations of the paper money in the background are obvious. We have a 100 dollar bill as well but I don't use it much.

Dear Dog: You are way too loud; you are way too big; you are way too needy; you are way too smelly; you are way too into that ball. You are way too far removed from the refined demeanor our person clearly expects from two pets named Nummers and Bobo.

Dear Cat: STOP batting my nose every time you want to make a point. It hurts. A lot. Oh by the way I buried all your toys. Try finding your happy jingle now.
