D´ni

Several decades after the diaspora of the D'ni survivors of the Fall, Atrus and Catherine searched through D'ni Ages for survivors, and, along with the survivors they found, founded a new D'ni civilization in Releeshahn.

This is islad Santorini in Greece. This island of Santorini is a volcanic island. The island has gone through many volcanic eruptions eruptions and earthguakes in history. The geological structure of the Island of Santorini was formed as a result of the volcanic activities that occurred about 3600 years ago. 3600 years ago, the volcano in Santorini, the Minoan civilization as a result of the expolision has disappered. Santirini is a must-see place.

In the ASTRA National Museum Complex, Sibiu, Romania

The Romanian cultural association ASTRA decided in 1897 to establish a museum of Romanian civilization as a "shelter for keeping the past". The "ASTRA" Museum of Traditional Folk Civilization (Romanian: Muzeul Civilizaţiei Populare Tradiţionale "ASTRA") is located in the Dumbrava Forest, 3 km south of Sibiu. Occupying an area of 0.96 square kilometers, it is the largest open-air museum in Romania and one of the largest in Central and Eastern Europe. It contains houses and workshops of the traditional Romanian folk culture from the pre-industrial era. Over 300 houses and other buildings are situated in the forest around two artificial lakes with over 10 km of walkways between them.

The exhibits are organized into six thematic groups: food production and animal husbandry; production of raw materials; means of transportation; manufacture of household objects; public buildings; an exposition of monumental sculpture. (Wikipedia)

Trees are growing in the forest for so long and most of them end up on this piles of logs, waiting for another life as a piece of furniture. It feels wrong, but people are getting wood from this forest for centuries and it is still here. Throne of medieval king and chair in my kitchen, both provided by this place. Our forest is strong and I'm amazed.

Santorini is an island in the southern Aegean Sea, about 200 km (120 mi) southeast from the Greek mainland. It is the largest island of a small, circular archipelago, which bears the same name and is the remnant of a volcanic caldera. It forms the southernmost member of the Cyclades group of islands, with an area of approximately 73 km2 (28 sq mi) and a 2011 census population of 15,550. The municipality of Santorini includes the inhabited islands of Santorini and Therasia, as well as the uninhabited islands of Nea Kameni, Palaia Kameni, Aspronisi and Christiana.

The island was the site of one of the largest volcanic eruptions in recorded history: the Minoan eruption (sometimes called the Thera eruption), which occurred about 3,600 years ago at the height of the Minoan civilization. The eruption left a large caldera surrounded by volcanic ash deposits hundreds of metres deep. It may have led indirectly to the collapse of the Minoan civilization on the island of Crete, 110 km (68 mi) to the south, through a gigantic tsunami. Another popular theory holds that the Thera eruption is the source of the legend of Atlantis.

It is the most active volcanic centre in the South Aegean Volcanic Arc, though what remains today is chiefly a water-filled caldera. The volcanic arc is approximately 500 km (310 mi) long and 20 to 40 km (12 to 25 mi) wide. The region first became volcanically active around 3-4 million years ago,[citation needed] though volcanism on Thera began around 2 million years ago with the extrusion of dacitic lavas from vents around Akrotiri.

This image showcases a stunning street view in Palermo, Sicily, taken from an ultra-low angle that accentuates the grandeur of the historic architecture. The primary focus is on the Palermo Cathedral (Cattedrale di Palermo), an iconic landmark that exemplifies the cityâs rich cultural heritage. The cathedral's design is a harmonious blend of various architectural styles, including Norman, Moorish, Gothic, and Baroque influences, reflecting the diverse civilizations that have shaped Palermo over centuries.

The left side of the image features a row of ornate palazzi, likely dating back to the Renaissance or Baroque periods. These buildings exhibit traditional Sicilian architectural features, such as arched windows, intricately carved stone details, and iron balconies. The street itself exudes a timeless charm, with its cobblestone pavement and warm-toned facades that are characteristic of Mediterranean urban settings.

Palermo's historical significance is deeply tied to its role as a cultural crossroads in the Mediterranean. Founded by the Phoenicians and later ruled by the Romans, Arabs, Normans, and Spanish, the city has absorbed influences from each era. The Palermo Cathedral, originally built in 1185, stands as a testament to this layered history. Its evolution over the centuries, with additions from different periods, embodies the city's dynamic past.

Culinary traditions in Palermo are equally rich and diverse, with street food playing a central role. Visitors to the area might enjoy sampling dishes such as arancini (stuffed rice balls), pane e panelle (chickpea fritters served in a sandwich), and the famous cassata siciliana, a traditional dessert. The cityâs vibrant food markets, such as Ballarò and Vucciria, provide an immersive experience into Palermoâs gastronomic culture, which, much like its architecture, reflects a tapestry of influences from its multicultural history.

Tokyo under pressure. If earth quakes, our civilization quakes too. These several days are my worst days for sure. but we shall overcome. Our society should become more tough more wisely. This is the trial of our civilization.

Many entire civilizations have arisen and fallen while this tree grew, prospered, and then faded, and we, the current brief occupants of this world, bicker about what a politician said today (forgotten tomorrow), and toss around terms like civil war because we cannot tolerate a politician of the opposite party for 4 years. Our foresight and patience are some of the things that are even shorter than our lives. It’s so easy for short lived creatures like ourselves to totally lose perspective. We are but a blink of the eye to trees like this. 14-24 mm lens, 24 mm, f/2.8, 20 sec, ISO 6400, stacked image.

Clifton, Arizona, USA. Once a booming copper mining town but now mostly declining or already in decay and the majority of people and business have moved just up the road to Morenci. The Freeport McMoRan copper mine located in Morenci is one of the largest in the world

Cliff dwellings along the San Francisco and Gila Rivers are evidence of an advanced civilization that existed long before Caesar ruled Rome. Many specimens of pottery and stone implements are still to be found in these ancient dwelling places. In the mid-1500s, both Fray Marcos de Niza and Francisco Vasquez de Coronado passed through the area, following the San Pedro north to the Gila River. Geronimo was born in 1829 near the confluence of Eagle Creek and the San Francisco and Gila Rivers.

In 1856 the first mineral discoveries of the Morenci/Clifton area were found by California volunteers pursuing Apaches, and conflicts between the Apaches and advancing Anglo settlers touched off a 26-year-long war. Mining for gold and silver began in 1864, followed by copper in 1872, and the mine at Morenci quickly grew to become the largest copper producer in North America. Clifton's population ballooned from 600 in 1880 to 5000 by 1910, and it quickly earned its reputation as the wildest of the "Wild West" boomtowns. Neighboring Morenci was swallowed up by an open pit mine in the 1960s, but Clifton was preserved, and today Chase Creek Street is still graced with lovely Victorian-era buildings from the town's halcyon days as the place to quickly make and lose a fortune.

In 1983, Clifton survived two nearly fatal blows, first a nearly three-year-long strike that began on June 30, 1983. Then later that same year, on October 2, 1983, Tropical Storm Octave sent 90,900 cubic feet of water per second into the San Francisco River, which burst its banks, destroying 700 homes and heavily damaging 86 of the town's 126 businesse

Lost Civilization

My Interplanetary Memories

Interplanetary Travel

While carrying out scientific studies on the planets I visit, I also make plans for my next space travel. I'm doing my planetary observations. And I calculate the fitness of these planets for life. As a result of my calculations and research, I find the planet I will visit next. Thus, I have a certain goal when I travel in outer space. But sometimes there are deviations from these targets. A planet that I missed can cause me to deviate from my course. Despite all these technological devices, I am very excited to visit these almost invisible planets. The possibility of finding life on these planets where the unknown is at its highest impresses me tremendously. In general, when I give a name to the planets I have discovered, I name these invisible planets with a letter. However, I have not encountered a civilization so far. I have found the remains of civilizations that once lived on some planets. These were habitats left over from ancient civilizations. I am working to find these lost civilizations. They seemed to have disappeared in an instant. I named this civilization that left the planet on which they lived, the "Plutonian Civilization". And finding this lost civilization became my new goal. Only settlements and some farmland remained from the lost Plutonian Civilization. I started looking for reasons to leave the planet. I have done various scientific researches and experiments. But I couldn't find a single reason for them to leave the planet. I haven't been able to reach a drought, bio-pollution, war or any other negative result. Everything seemed normal on the planet. I did not encounter anything abnormal except that it was too quiet. This surprised me quite a bit. Why had the lost Plutonian civilization disappeared? Why did they leave their planet? In order to find answers to all these questions, I needed to find the lost civilization.

I was less likely to return to Earth. This interplanetary travel that I had been on had reached a different dimension. I found myself in an event that is very difficult to return. I had achieved my goal of finding planets suitable for life. Now I had a new goal. Finding the lost civilization.
