Wikipedia says: The Co-operative Insurance Tower, or CIS Tower, is an office tower building on Miller Street in Manchester, England. It was completed in 1962 and rises to 387 feet (118 m) in height. The Grade II listed building, which houses Co-operative Financial Services, a part of The Co-operative Group, is Manchester's second-tallest building and the tallest office building outside London.
As I mentioned in one of the earlier shots, this is usually where I'm heading for in Manchester. On this day, the bright sunshine was a welcome change after a few weeks of overcast skies. The shaded side of the building gave a lovely even light. Shame the wind wasn't blowing to stretch out the flag.
52 Weeks of Manchester is a project to document a city I visit several times each week. I plan to take a few pictures each week. I'm putting the good ones in a stack and I'll post a shot each week over the course of a year. Comments and questions are always welcome, especially critique!
