A renovated bank with an additional 10 stories of offices above. Built as a showcase of the light, strong materials produced by Consolidated Industrial Composites, the upper floors are clad with articulated carbon-fiber panels.
The garish building is often referred to as 'The Beefeater.'

The mountain rescue post / mountaineers' "hut" at the foot of Ben Nevis' north face. A stunning place, and also a somewhat terrifying one thinking of those climbing here and the mountain rescue teams.

For a long time i can only admire them from afar, high on the trees where they make the jungle come alive. Today, one actually came close enough for me to capture its beauty & i even got a chance to record a video of it singing... God's grace :)

Always a favourite walk for some exercise when the summits are a bit wild. You can just see the CIC hut coming into view below the north face of Ben Nevis. Very nice conditions for a walk to the hut.
