Winter at the FDR Mid Hudson Bridge in Poughkeepsie, New York. You can see streaks in the water which are from large chunks of ice passing by during the photograph.

The orientation of this unusual pine makes it hard to get with the Milky Way, but here goes! 3 shot vertical panorama, Sigma lens, 1 flash, 1 video light.
The next batch of BL orders coming have a bunch of white curves, the new Hoth Rebels, and some transparent Technic liftarms, so I can build a proper stand and a display base to match the one I built for the AT-ST (or, well, an updated version of the AT-ST; I've made some minor changes to smooth out the head and strengthen the legs).

It's been, what...three, four years since my last proper MOC? Well, now that I know I'll be renting the same room for the rest of my time at university, I moved a good chunk of my collection in with me and went on a Bricklink spree.
Then I had a quick conversation with EB member LilMeFromDaFuture, (www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=112692&s...) and he was looking into different combinations of slopes to minimize the stepped effect of SNOT wings. Well, if you really want to get rid of that stepped edge, you flip the entire thing around and put the flat edge on the outside, right? So I did that.

Mauch Chunk is a Lenape indian name for the town known as Jim Thorpe. It is located in Pennsylvania and is considered by some to be the "Gateway to the Poconos". This picture was captured in the early morning at Lake Mauch Chunk. I camp there every year with the same bunch of guys. I wasn't sure what I was going to capture at 4:00 AM but as luck would have it I was there to witness greatness.

i've been experimenting with soya chunks in curry. i've had the bag of soya chunks in my cupboard for a while and the other day thought i'd better do something with them. i wasn't hopeful.
i cooked them in my homemade curry sauce to absorb flavour and was very surprised. i really liked them :) a definite for future meals

Pepperidge Farm Soft Baked Newport Dark Chocolate Cookies with Sea Salt, with dark chocolate chips and chunks.
Last year's project was a disaster, I ended up just grabbing crappy shots to fill in the day and whilst I have them, I've not processed or posted a chunk of them.
Work was crazy busy and I let myself get dragged into stupidly long stressful days and not making sure I had time for other things. This year I plan/hope to discipline myself to switch off for at least a few hours a day and do other things, photography being one of them.
I seem to do better with these projects when I have a theme of sorts, so I'm going to start with using an XPAN ratio for at least January, maybe the whole year, lets see,
With a new year comes a blank page waiting to be filled.
Spotted this small falls while on Hyannis Trail this morning, I really like the exposed layers here, reminds me that I'm on a mountain.
