This is from the very base of the large rock pile in front of Lake Moraine, a few minutes after this experiment with my 9-stop ND. The evening light on the tips of the mountains was enchanting. I have such a love affair with this lake, and wish there was enough time left in the year (and enough extra money in my bank account) to make another trip to see her before the snows begin.

I just heard from my client and the billboard people are choosing this one, I think! Of couse it will have my client's company name and slogan on their somewhere. I'll take a photo of it up. There will be three different months in the next 6 months and three different locations! Goes up April 6th!!!
I choose to use the Impressionism style to help even out the harsh lighting but still give the impression of a lovvely hike at noon. What do you think?

A brief interlude in the rain allowed me a few minutes to capture the hire boats waiting to be chosen at Lake Edith just outside Jasper townsite. Funnily enough there were no boats on the lake.

I was glad to see that the organizers chose the seed part wisely! It was a chalince to build, but I used the tap 15 times, for the torches, the swastika, the ashes, and of course the goblets!

Mike and I have been called boring because of how we live. We prefer a night out camping by ourselves instead of partying at the bar, or adventuring in the wild instead of spending the day at a packed festival. To me, being part of the crowd is boring (and stifling). I could never be bored with nature or our adventures and I would chose our quiet way of life again & again. Even on days when we hibernate in our home, life is full of wonder.
