The Baltimore skyline was being left behind as a quartet of EMDs were heading out of town hauling a train of sailboat fuel.

With 2 Chessie GP40-2s, a B&O GP30 and a CSX GP40, B&O signals, and a background devoid of Oriole Park at Camden Yards and Ravens stadium, the view has certainly changed 30 years later.

A tiny boot charm attached to a small blue ribbon.

This weeks Macro Monday Challenge - Trinkets.

This trinket was given to me by my husband on our 25th Anniversary vacation in Hawaii. While the charm itself is worth very little in terms of cost, it holds a lot of sentimental value to me. When I look at it, I am filled with incredible memories of Hawaii and our 25th Anniversary celebration.

Here the snake extends up the rope to make his getaway from the dimantled bird house.... See next picture.... :)

Gold coqui (Puerto Rican frog) charm for Macro Mondays theme "My Closest"

I don’t know about you, but hmmm, every season has its charms?

Each their colours… not that Spring doesn’t have orange or Summer doesn’t have reds, I think it much lies in the ‘combination’ of colours?

And this here is pure Autumn! An orange onion Pumpkin, some Strawberry Corn (mostly decorative Zea mays 'Strawberry'.

Popping Corn), some cobnuts (fresh Hazelnuts) and a few Physalis… et voila, Autumn in the studio.

Every Autumn beautiful, unusual small nuts appear in the British larder.

They are not dissimilar to a hazelnut, but should not be mistaken for them; the Cobnut is a nut in its own right.

They are super-delicious fresh but can also be dried and eaten later in the season.

Cobnuts, filberts, hazelnuts are all varieties of the Corylus family.

They grow in Britain and can be found fresh from early Autumn, or dried and processed for using year round.

Cobnuts are very distinctive in their pretty, downy cover which, when fresh, is easy to remove as is the shell of the young nut.

Once they begin to dry the shell toughens yet will still only need a sharp tap to break.

When young, the green cobnuts have a taste very similar to coconut and as they mature and become golden, they are much sweeter and juicier.
