Taken overllooking Port Talbot steel works from Morfa beach last summer (such a long time ago now). I went back to the same spot a week later and these flowers had completely withered away.
A lovely morning breakfast of waffles topped with butter and berries drizzled with delicious maple syrup. (and a glass of milk)
I had finished up my "sunset" photos at Reflection Lake, and was kind of disappointed in the lack of color, though I liked some of the shots a lot. I hopped in my car and started driving back towards home, and saw this. So THAT'S where all the color was, I thought. Not to mention the moon sitting nicely in the valley. Hopped out of the car, and took some shots. I liked the color of this one the best, and kind of like the tree silhouettes. I do have some without the trees and that show off the moon better that I'll put up later.
I have many more shots from that trip to Rainier, but I think I'll take a break from them for a little bit. I have my return to Alki with an actual tripod, more Ella, and my Chicago weekend just begging to go up. I'll mix in some more Rainier too. :)
