The lovely town of Dolceacqua, northern Italy, on the border with France. The famous, French impressionist Monet took a trip in Dolceacqua; he was very enchanted with the hamlet and he painted even 4 paintings that depicted the town (www.dolceacqua.it/turismo/images/stories/immagini-fisse/m...)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.Computer-generated imagery (CGI for short) is the application of computer graphics to create or contribute to images in art, printed media, video games, films, television programs, commercials, videos, and simulators. The visual scenes may be dynamic or static, and may be two-dimensional (2D), though the term "CGI" is most commonly used to refer to 3D computer graphics used for creating scenes or special effects in films and television...

This is from a couple months ago near Page, Arizona. It's the Toadstool hoodoos in southern Utah at dusk. Utah seriously looks like another planet.

A creation inspired by one of my all time favorites. when I look back I wound up copying the layout as well as the idea, but I think my difference in style more than makes up for the similarities, plus the world can never have to many skull islands

I tried out tons of new things in this build, even so far as ordering a bunch of ninja turtle torsos, so I can stick little green hands everywhere for added effect to the foliage. I have a few closeups of neat things here:

This was the autumn scene a year a go and it wouldn’t bee long before the leafs are of a golden color as fall approaches. The weather has been terrible of late here in Amsterdam but I a source you, things will brighten up very soon to reveal the splendors of autumn. I hope to keep you up to date on this. I’ve been really busy at work as of late, but things should clear of very soon for me (and hopefully the weather).

Although the path was NOT grassy, the man man was not young definitely, it was not in the autumn indeed and the valley was not of Werra river - this is what came to my mind when so this man walking down the path down to this beautiful valley...

.....

"In the autumn of the year 184– a strapping young fellow, knapsack on back and stick in hand, was walking with slow and easy stride along the broad highroad that leads up from Marisfeld to Wichtelhausen.

He was not one of those journeyman artisans who travel about from place to place, seeking work; anyone could see that at the first glance, even if the small, neatly made leather portfolio, which he carried strapped on his knapsack, had not betrayed his calling. There was certainly no denying the fact that he was an artist.

(...)

Away on the other side ran a grassy path, leading farther into the valley; so, with no definite purpose in view—for he was only passing through the beautiful Werra Valley to enrich his portfolio—he crossed the brook by leaping from one great stone to another, and so reached the close-cropped meadow on the other side, where he advanced rapidly on the springy turf under the shadow of the thick alder bushes.

“How wonderfully quiet it is in this valley! ..."
