Because I was nearby I thought I'd swing on down to Trent Bridge works to see if there was anything to see... and it turned out there was everything to see because all the doors were wide open! Here's probably the most exciting view of them all, with the vehicles that were currently being worked on.
389 is poking into view on the left, while the Solo SR furthest back is 344. By process of elimination, as the others were elsewhere on site, the Omnidekka in training livery is 915. The E200 in front of that is 388 (a long one), while the navy Solo SR is quite easily identifiable as 347. Even easier to identify is 335 up on the jacks, not only as it has its fleet number visible but also because it has "up to every 7 mins" on the windscreen. The SR missing the front panel is, I think, 336, due to its body coloured light clusters. Only 336 and 351 appear to have these, and 351 was clearly parked round the back so it wasn't that one.
Guess it's pretty obvious, but no, I didn't just go wandering into the works, and all the photos taken here were taken from the safety of the public roadway outside.

Accidental double exposure. I took a shot of the Statue of Liberty in NY and forgot to wind the film! Then I took another shot of the small town of Toledo in Spain on the same frame. Voila! I moved the Statue of Liberty to Toledo! :)
D&E Coaches operated Mercedes-Benz Tourismo L BF23 CFN is pictured on Railway Terrace in Inverness with a service on route 961 towards Ullapool.
This vehicle wears the newest Scottish Citylink livery with a slightly brighter base blue than most use on this design. It's one of three 3rd gen Tourismos in D&E's fleet but it's the only one used on Citylink work, with the others being used for private hires and as a football team coach when needed too.

Toy camera workshop
Our workshop members spent the day wandering around the Logan Heights community of San Diego. I met Edward (camera right) and Michael outside the Logan Temple A.M.E. Zion Church, educational building; belonging to the church that they maintain.
Edward told me that he joined the congregration of the church at the age of 11. He left for military service at 18 and after being discharged experienced what the world had to offer. He returned to the church in 1993 and has taken on, with Michael, the responsibilty of maintaining the grounds. They went on to explain that the church can host over 300 people during services. The congregation has dwindled a bit; they estimate that they have 140 faithful members. They both exhibited a tremendous amount of pride in the church and community.
Edward, Michael, thanks for the visit

Charles Black (left), director of Brookhaven Lab's Center for Functional Nanomaterials (CFN), and Andreas Liapis (right), a former CFN postdoc and current research fellow at Massachusetts General Hospital's Wellman Center for Photomedicine, are co-developers of invisible glass. The nanotexturing technique that the scientists developed to eliminate optical reflections from glass surfaces was selected as the Grand Prize winner of Tech Briefs' 2018 Create the Future Design Contest. Here, Black holds a piece of regular glass and Liapis a piece of invisible glass for comparison.
