Liquid Image Ego LS Features 4G Live Streaming
Liquid Image introduced their Ego LS action cam. Similar in size, performance and configuration to the GoPro, the camera will shoot 1080/30 or 25 -- or 720/60, as well as, 8, 5 and 3 megapixel stills. What's unique is an additional module that allows you to stream live video over Verizon's 4G network in WQVGA at 30 fps. Estimated battery life is 6 hours when using Wi-Fi or Bluetooth and 1.5 hours using 4G LTE. There is also motion detection capability. The camera itself will sell for $199 and $399 with the 4G module.
