DJI Shows S1000 Digital Cinematography Platform
DJI showed their upcoming top-of-the-line flying platform for aerial cinematography, the S1000. While competitors typically design their platforms for the GoPro, the S1000 features 8 rotors enabling it to carry a Canon 5D on a 3-axis shooting platform. No specs were available as the unit is still in development. However, DJI reps mentioned flight times of 10-15 minutes, GPS capability and Q1 availability. Price is TBD.
