90 mins of stacked star trails showing the celestial equator & saturated to show the colours normally invisable to the naked eye. It was taken on a very dark night with no moon.
Sandwiched with the Shephard's Lookout photographed & lightpainted recently when the moon was a bit too bright for good trails.

Esta semana hay muchas actividades en las que estaremos participando, desde el miércoles y hasta el domingo. Para empezar acompañaremos la proyección audiovisual de Felipe Visor, el estará mostrando su trabajo titulado “Mapa Celestial” en la sala bicentenario de la Biblioteca Nazional, desde las 19:00 hrs, hasta las 21:00 dura la exposición, la gente que va a musicalizar la proyección del miércoles son: Leonardo Ahumada junto a Dj Vaskular (Colectivo Etéreo), para el Jueves los encargados son Pablo Flores (Jacobino Discos) y La Casa… Ervo Perez (Productora Mutante), para el viernes los encargados serán Los Inútiles DENGÚN. Las actividades en la biblioteca son GRATIS.

Old-timers will recall the hullabaloo over the reentry of SkyLab into the Earth's atmosphere in July, 1979. I think it was scheduled for reentry on July 9 (today), though it actually happened a couple of days later
My grandma was in her place near Guntur and joked with her friends that it would fall on them. She died the next day (on Guru Purnima, Monday 9th July 1979)
I can still see my Mom crying in a chair at the end of the hall, when we got back from play that evening
My grandma was some lady. She used to test for her blood-sugar levels with a very involved process. Heat a test-tube along with some solution, put the drops of blood in it, and do some sort of litmus test. Can't imagine doing any of that now; the mind balks at a 5-second test! Anyway, she was one tough cookie

| At the last moment, we were seated around him, while his wife, stricken with unspeakable grief, was in the inner apartment with Golap-ma, Yogin-ma, and others. Just then she noticed something like a piece of black cloud in the sky, which became denser by stages and began to descend. Soon it assumed the shape of a chariot and alighted on the roof of Balaram Basu's house. The Master came out of that chariot and proceeded towards the room where Balaram Babu lay. Soon after, he issued forth, taking Balaram Babu by the hand, and entered the chariot again, which then ascended and vanished in the sky. This vision raised her mind to a very high plane where there could be no touch of grief or sorrow. When she returned to normal she related this to Golap-ma, who came to apprise us of the fact. Balaram Babu had passed away just a little while before

I'm driving home from a friend's house last night, and as I reach Highway 1 and look out over the near-dark ocean, I see this amazing sight: four celestial bodies arranged in a beautiful, glittering cluster—a conjunction.
I speed home, throw the camera on the tripod, step out onto the deck, and grab this shot.
Next, I did some googling, and learned I was lucky enough to catch a show that had a one-night-only engagement. Check out the notes in the photo, then read this.
An original design, the Celestial Chain bracelet is composed of four sizes of rings linked to make this lovely bracelet. A closer perspective of Poseidon's bas-relief on the surface of this helmet shield is what perhaps reinforces the celestial origin of the Gods of Mt. Olympus. The more I study this helmet; the more evident that this narrative perhaps establishes the premise that this helmet's bas-relief images is connected with the battle of Troy and the Trojan War; and perhaps the four corners of celestial spheres in this image field represent concepts far greater than only the four corners on Earth. The opposite side of this helmet has two different images; perhaps Menelaus, husband of Helen, longing for the return of his wife, and perhaps the images of Hercules most likely replacing Poseidon on the opposite side of the Helmet defeating the impenetrable Nemean Lion with the armor of steel that no human can penetrate.
I decided to focus on the four celestial corners of this image of Poseidon that hold different combinations and sizes of celestial planets in each corner. The four celestial corners of this image field are extremely small in relation to the true size of this helmet and they are small enough to easily miss. We always considered that the four corners that Poseidon ruled over were the four corners of Earth; however our Earth is a sphere, and the concept of four corners of Earth is impossible unless one used the triangulation of celestial bodies beyond Earth's sphere. If you look carefully at the different spheres in four corners of Poseidon's image; the size and combinations of planet spheres differ from corner to corner. The lower left quadrant has four spheres and the other three corners are slightly different in size, line, and combination.
Our galaxy is set up by our ancients within the structure of a triangulation grid; a square is virtually made up of combinations of different triangles, and the sacred geometry of our ancients considered the square secondary to the triangle. There are three pyramids in a line in Giza, Egypt; Orion's Belt is considered a line of three planets with the three pyramids of Egypt mirroring the three stars of Orion's Belt. If our galaxy is set up in a grid format using triangles instead of a square alignment, and ancient celestial navigation system relied on "Triangulation" of celestial bodies to determine celestial geographic locations; what if groups of planets in the four corners of this Poseidon Image field is actually a reference to specific celestial locations within our galaxy based on specific stars and celestial spheres instead of referencing the four corners of our Earth, which is a physical impossibility because Earth is a sphere, unless you establish a square within a sphere??? We never really considered that the trident used by Poseidon as his weapon perhaps holds a far greater significance than simply the story that three Cyclops made the trident for Poseidon specifically for dominion over the seas on Earth and Zeus his weapon of the thunderbolt for dominion over Olympus. What if the four corners of planets surrounding Poseidon in this image field actually represent the Pyramidal triangle making up our Galaxy, as we have discovered by all stones and artifacts on this North American site; and the four corners of different celestial spheres are actually celestial systems represented within the three pyramidal points of our galaxy??? Poseidon's Trident and symbolic purpose of his sacred Trident may actually represent dominion not only over our Seas on Earth, but perhaps dominion over the celestial Seas of our Galaxy??? Just something to think about on a hot Summer Day in July.
