Derelict Boat, Dungeness UK
Almost heavenly atmosphere with this boat, and a shame that 'Ian and Tina' was burnt to the ground last year.
In the Southwest, badlands are a low relief landscape of soft, thin-layered, multicolored sedimentary rocks which are weathered into small hills, gullies and pinnacles, largely or completely lacking any vegetation, and occurring in generally arid environments. Some locations have rocks that are harder and more resistant than others above and below, giving rise to extensive arrays of hoodoos - fantastic eroded formations of every shape imaginable, and while the great majority of such places are remote and little-known, not part of national or state parks, they rank amongst the most photogenic landscapes around.

Celestial Skies was captured at Chaffinch Island park in Guilford Connecticut. This was a rare sunset evening shoot that I wasn't sure would happen. Unlike most sunsets however, I had the whole park to myself. Perhaps it was the 35° F temperature. It was a heavenly sunset nonetheless.

A flower in my back yard taken with a vintage Soviet Helios 44-2 58mm f2 lens attached to my DSLR.
I was attempting to photograph bumble bees doing their thing in the garden quite unsuccessfully (manual focus lens, shallow focus, fast moving object, etc) but this bee was just taking its time in the flower - covered in pollen. Unfortunately I think it was at the end of its life - was still there this morning, still moving but very slowly. A night away from the hive.
My six year old daughter was in tears when she realised.

I cannot express how much I'm enjoying taking pictures these days, especially when my friends are also happy to pose for me (although they don't have much choice!)

My soul has been kissed by a blue moon, this night dreamer of love and sparkle, star light and dreams, caught in your eye's, mother of nature's night sky's, unfolding into the heavenly blue dreams of Orion, amongst the cosmos I dwell, casting moon beams into the worlds of dreamers and holding the gaze of angels in a bed of star light kisses, we are born of joy's and moon beamed caresses in a love making waltz under the sleeping sun, of a beautiful night.
Another jaw-dropping - breathtaking sunset in my town last night.
We have been missing the rain this week, but sunsets were beautiful every night.

Can you resist it? I know it’s tough and if you are like me I feel at peace when shooting symmetry! Grand Heaven’s lagoon is a perfect spot for something like that. Love the food and architecture as well. What do you think?
My grandmother told me long ago that once in a lifetime if I was lucky, I would see the heavens open for the celestial spirits to dance across the sky. Today I saw this!
Taken from an aeroplane 10 minutes after takeoff from Gatwick Airport by my son who had the window seat….Clearly already a better photographer than me!

I've recently watched an interview with Salvador Dali where he was stating that all his artwork are based on his dreams coming to him 10 minutes before he was fully asleep.
Dali learned over time to take control of his lucid dream state and with that, he mastered accessing his subconscious and used what he had found in his act of creating. Of course, the way he materialized what he found is truly amazing as well, in any ways, all his artwork are now fascinating manifestations of one man's creative mind, ideas and experiences, for all of us to see and wonder about.
This all made me think, this 10 minutes time period of lucid dream state, mystical space before we all are fully gone somewhere else; I cannot help noticing a parallel notion happening in the way nature behaves just before it awakes or falls asleep; the most unexpected, wonderous and profound events, colours, particles, sensations are seem to manifest themselves in those couple of minutes of lucid dream states of nature, just before it all settles again.
