Entre 2015 e 2016, a Câmara de Dirigentes Lojistas de Joinville levou uma série de palestras a diversas regiões da cidade, dentro do projeto CDL nos Bairros. O objetivo foi aproximar ainda mais a entidade dos lojistas por meio de capacitações. Em 2015, os palestrantes Lena Souza, Alexandre Poffo e Daniel Fonseca falaram, em encontros mensais, sobre atendimento, vendas e finanças. Em 2016, Lena Souza e Alexandre Poffo fizeram uma dobradinha nas palestras.
