Surf ‘n Turf, Slurp ‘n Burp; Outback Steakhouse Connection To My Life ‘n Home(s)/Land - IMRAN™
Even my food experiences amaze me with their interconnections in the stories of my life. Here’s one example of the intricate coincidences.
I love many kinds of exotic foods and what I call CCCCCC (complex culinary creation calories carriers consumption). However, sometimes I just crave one of my favorite combinations you see here. Surf ‘n Turf,… tender filet mignon and juicy lobster tail, with mashed potatoes and sautéed mushrooms.
It’s nothing fancy, but I’ve always appreciated Outback Steakhouse for its consistency, decent food, good service, and reasonable prices. Ironically the chain was established in USA at a very interesting moment.
It was started in 1988. That was right between my Christmas 1987 America tourism trip return to Pakistan, and my January 1989 move to attend Columbia Business School to start my American life.
I first discovered OBSH exactly 20 years ago. I was driving the East Coast Florida coastline along US A1A, looking for my first “second home” in America on the Atlantic Ocean. Somewhere along the road I asked where I could get dinner. Someone pointed me to Outback. I loved it. I even ate at several other locations during that one month driving home search.
I had chosen condo 37D at The Tiara on Singer Island to be my home and went to the nearby one regularly. I later sold my condo for a profit. I fortunately left it just before hurricane damage basically closed the building for many years.
Exactly 10 years after that Florida living experience, I was blessed to search for my second “second home”. I drove every mile of coastline of the whole state of Florida this time. That included the Florida panhandle and west/Gulf coast. I kept looking until I made Apollo Beach, on Tampa Bay, my home. Ironically my blessed fantasy home, as I call it, was completed in 1989 - the year America became my homeland.
Also ironically, the first Outback Steakhouse reportedly had opened in Tampa, Florida. That is the major city area my home is in, and that is also where I had this meal at.
Small world, big appetite, mate! Time to slurp ‘n burp after the always delicious surf ‘n turf.

Since 1939, Pink's in Hollywood has been serving it's famous hot dogs. I was so happy to find some pink geraniums by Pink's for Jiffy's 'Think Pink Week'. The light wasn't the best for them for a B&W, their forms say Spring is here anyway. And people appear to be lining up!
Increased the contrast in the color version before converting to B&W. Used gradient adjustment layers in hex# cccccc (light grey) and hex# 333333 (charcoal grey) in soft light blending mode. And 2 levels adjustment layers.

ui si ui si que mamona :c dfkgfjskjkdskgjfkd pero es que ando en mis diaaaaaaaaas de mamonerías po. como que quiero amor, quiero cariño, quiero estar vagamente acostada en mi cama viendo una película y que alguien esté en las mismas atrás mio abrazándome por la cintura o jugando con mi pelo o lo que sea y que termine en peleas lucha libre y cosas que me gustan a mi. siiii soy super poco convencional en cuanto a las relaciones, no me gustan las mismas cosas que a todos en una pareja, pienso que estaré mejor con alguien libremente que estando con la misma persona pero poniendole nombre a la relacion que haya. y ya no sé que estoy hablando, no sé si lo que escribo es cuerdo o tiene sentido alguno fkgfjdskfjkgf hola estoy pensando en alguien :cccccc por la chuchaaaaaaaa, me carga esta sensación XD, no me gusta que me guste alguien. jaja se entiende? me carga :(, me siento inferior y vulnerable, y eso NO ME AGRADA. no quiero pasar por lo mismo de nuevo, y no es por esas tonterías que dicen las niñas de "ay! todos los hombres son iguales" o "el amor es una mierda" por que nones, eso no es así ! el amor es hermoso, tanto en relaciones de pareja como en las de amistad o familia ... y de nuevo perdí el hilo a lo que estaba escribiendo, mi cabeza anda por allá arriba aun .. estoy frustrada por no poder ver a la persona que quiero ver, me siento tonta al no saber si esa persona piensa igual, me dolerá el momento cuando sepa si soy una entretención o va mas allá.. no sé por que chucha estoy diciendo tantas cosas de las cuales siempre me burlo, y me parecen tan tontas xd
si todos los hombre son iguales, por qué siempre nos empeñamos en estar con uno? por qué nos enamora solo uno y no tenemos ojos para ningún otro más que ese? no señores, no todos los hombres son iguales..
la foto es de hace unos días en mi ventana, habia estado lloviendo minutos atrás y el vidrio estaba asi, la luz le daba del palo poste de la calle y quedo gonita me gustó :B

I'm not sure how the inverted neon effect happened, but I like it! And the low light grain works well for this one.

Todos tienen una foto así Hahah! que celulaaar mas viejo ;c tengo este por que eh perdido dos en el año uno en una protesta ahi tambien perdi mi pase & muchas cosas de valor & el otro ni recuerdo donde 8-) me retaron mucho & hasta el día de hoy me hacen buscar el segundo ;c aún no me aprendo el numero el primero me lo sabia de memoria aún llamo & contestan feos qlaos ni cambiaron el chip ;'c es por eso que me pasaron este que no tiene nÁ ;|||pero igual me gusta♥ ya ni tengo ganas de escribir >< ksdjaskdsakd mañana madrugo ;cccccc
