Small castle from the early Middle Ages, when the stone walls were just coming up
Entry for CCC XX small castle
The Civilian Conservation Corps built this picnic shelter in the 1930s, long before Congress established Theodore Roosevelt National Park in 1978.
Much of the park has its origins in a Depression-era program that purchased marginal and submarginal lands as a form of relief to ranchers and farmers facing bankruptcy from the agricultural depression. Some of those lands ended up in the national grassland system, including the Little Missouri National Grassland. Other lands ended up as part of the national park, which is mostly surrounded by Little Missouri NG.
Sincerely sorry that you had to wait for so long to see this vignette, but school life in science class killed my free time completely.
I was struggling with the build for more than 3 weeks, because I couldn't find any decent idea for next build. And I came up with this pretty bad build which includes stupid techinques.
It's efinitely not my best. Some other projects are also waiting to finish them...
I hope you enjoy this build anyway. In my opinion the photo should be better too, sadly, the sun is gone and only clouds are left. :P

This is the card I made for Judy for the July CCC.
I was going to use the plants from a Hero Arts aquatic set, but I was too lazy to make masks, so I just drew some plants using the HA stamps as inspiration.

My first entry to this year's CCC! While I'm really not a fan of the Teutonic Order's "Repent or die!" attitude towards other conflicting religions, the knights just look so freaking cool! ;)

During the Depression the Civilian Conservation Corps employed men to build out the park system. This CCC pavilion is at Florida's O'Leno State Park. Taken with a Rolleicord twin lens reflex medium format camera on Kodak TriX film. Self-developed in Kodak D76.

Just over a week until the longest running contest in the LEGO community starts again!
