Brisbane city buildings framed by riverside greenery. Sunset scene observed from Captain Burke Park at Kangaroo Point.
Most of the time we see the CBD from another viewpoint which includes the colourful Story Bridge. Yes I do have those "must have" images as well and I know of 3 friends who were doing this on the same night. I really wanted to do something different and bring out the high rise buildings since there is currently no crane in spoiling the view.
It was a cracker dusk with gorgeous tones hardly ever seen in summer.

#photoaday
On a walk with two other photographers who were into some serious late afternoon tripod-mounted shots in this section of the CBD, along the Brisbane River.
I am amazed with the amount of subjects my latest lens addition Sigma 10-20mm can capture.
As the CBD (Central Business District) contained many if Singapore 's iconic buildings, it presented me the chance to test out my lens.
The latest addition to the CBD was the Marina Bay Sands and Marina Bay Financial Central.
At the same time , i also tried out with the camera-in-built HDR function to capture this photos.
I was happy with the final outcome of the picture and the experience

About Marina Bay Sands
Marina Bay Sands (traditional Chinese: 濱海灣金沙; simplified Chinese: 滨海湾金沙) is an integrated resort fronting Marina Bay in Singapore. Developed by Las Vegas Sands, it is billed as the world's most expensive standalone casino property at S$8 billion, including cost of the prime land.[1][2]
With the casino complete, the resort features a 2,561-room hotel, a 1,300,000-square-foot (120,000 m2) convention-exhibition centre, the 800,000-square-foot (74,000 m2) The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands mall, an iconic ArtScience museum, two large theatres, seven "celebrity chef" restaurants, two floating Crystal Pavilions, an ice skating rink, and the world's largest atrium casino with 500 tables and 1,600 slot machines. The complex is topped by a 340m-long SkyPark with a capacity of 3,900 people and a 150m infinity swimming pool, set on top of the world's largest public cantilevered platform, which overhangs the north tower by 67m.[3][4] The 20-hectare resort was designed by Moshe Safdie Architects. The local architect of record was Aedas Singapore, and engineering was provided by Arup and Parsons Brinkerhoff (MEP). The main contractor was Ssangyong Engineering and Construction.[5]
Originally set to open in 2009, Las Vegas Sands faced delays caused by escalating costs of material and labour shortages from the onset. The severe global financial crisis also pressured the company to delay its projects elsewhere to complete the integrated resort.[6] Although Marina Bay Sands has been compared on scale and development costs to MGM's CityCenter, the latter is a mixed-use development, with condominium properties (comprising three of the seven main structures) being sold off.[7][8]
The resort was officially opened with a two-day celebration on 23 June 2010 at 3.18 pm, after a partial opening (which included the casino) on 27 April 2010.[9] The SkyPark opened a day later on 24 June 2010. The theatres were completed in time for the first performance by Riverdance on 30 November 2010. The floating pavilions are still being built and are expected to be fully completed by 2011. The indoor skating rink, which uses artificial ice, opened to a performance by Michelle Kwan on 18 December 2010. The ArtScience Museum opened to the public and the debut of a 13-minute light, laser and water spectacle called Wonder Full on 19 February 2011 marked the full completion of the entire Integrated Resort.
The grand opening of Marina Bay Sands was held on 17 February 2011. It also marked the opening of the seven celebrity chef restaurants. The highly-anticipated Broadway musical The Lion King debuted on 3 March 2011.[10] The last portion of the Marina Bay Sands, the floating pavilions, were finally opened to the public when the two tenants (Louis Vuitton and Pangaea Club) opened on 18 September 2011 and 22 September 2011 respectively.

Taken in CBD, Melbourne
Finally finished all my exams :D! It was weird picking up the camera again. I probably should have waited until Halloween to post this photo, I love how sinister this tree looks!

Melbourne CBD
One of the perks of my job is that it often takes me to some interesting places, and places with great views. Today was no exception as I visited the roof of a building on the outskirts of Melbourne which had views of Melbourne CBD (to the right) and Port Phillip Bay to the left. This was an 8 image panorama which was captured using my Galaxy S7 (the only camera I had on me) and stitched using Autopano Giga. I used Affinity photo to remove some distracting elements (roof handrail) and crop the photo before editing the photo in Luminar 3 (Accent AI 2.0 & AI Sky), I finally ran it through Topaz Denoise. Photo is not perfect but the views were :)

Now I couldn't make out which the leaflet in his hand was about - but I think I can make a good guess.
To help here is a little information on both CBO and CBD.
Cannabidiol (CBD):
CBD oil has entered the mainstream in recent years, bringing with it zealous advocates and dismissive sceptics.
Also known as Cannabidiol, CBD is found in the cannabis plant. But unlike THC - the ingredient that makes cannabis users high - CBD has no psychoactive effect.
Instead, it is used by people who want to manage conditions like chronic pain, PTSD and epilepsy. The substance is also being trialled to see if it can help with anxiety and arthritis.
However, it is important to note that licences for CBD oil as a medicine have not been granted yet, and manufacturers cannot make claims about their alleged medical benefits.
The CBO:
The CBO replaces the Anti-social Behaviour Order (ASBO) on conviction and the Drinking Banning Order (DBO) on conviction.
The main differences between the ASBO on conviction and the CBO are:
The behaviour (first limb of the test for imposing an order) only need to cause or be likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress to any person (removing the "not of the same household" requirement);
The "necessity" test becomes a "helpfulness" test (as with that for Football Banning Orders); and
The court may impose requirements as well as prohibitions.
Singapore Central Business District, and Boat Quay on the right side, with lots of local restaurants (for tourists!).
Using DRI technique. Made of a composite of 4 exposures (15 sec to 2 minutes). So basically in this picture there are 4 sections from different exposures, basically to avoid having parts that are too overexposed.
