St Mary's Agricultural School, Tardun
Sister Francis PBVM
There are many sights in Tardun
That are beautiful to see
From flowering shrubs to tall York gums
Of graceful symmetry.
Like a castle on the hilltop
Are the buildings strong and grand
Ah yes, St Mary's Farm School
Is a credit to our land.
Travelling through the fields and bushlands
On the brown roads curving line
First of all, you see the buildings
The our Blessed Lady's Shrine.
And she seems to bid you welcome
One must pause awhile to pray
As the coloured lights shine round her
At the closing of the day.
Round the oval in the foreground
Come the boys at eventide
Loving band of Mary's children
Kneeling, praying, side by side.
It is something they'll remember
In the distant future days
How they stood around the oval then,
And sang their sweet Aves.
