Just like to thank every one for their views, comments and faves. Here's to a Happy Slider Sunday and Happy Easter.
The other morning the sun was shining so I thought I'd see if anything was going on at White Lake. It was cold, around 22Ā°F (-6Ā°C) and as I was walking around, every so often I would see the Tree Swallows fly out over the lake and then back to a tree. They all seemed to be hanging out in a group and had their feathers all puffed out. I took a few shots of them both sitting and flying and somehow I managed to get this shot! I really couldn't believe it when I started to look through the images but this one was getting processed.
For the Photoshop fans I processed this with the new feature included with Adobe Camera Raw (ACR) V13.2 called āSuper Resolutionā, 2x the linear resolution. This means that the enhanced image will have 2x the width and 2x the height of the original image, or 4x the total pixel count.

Spring ballet gives way to Summer ball

23 years after I spent some days in this wonderful South African city, my son Martim arrived there today for a few days and sent me this photo by whatsapp. For me, in terms of scenic beauty, Cape Town is the second most fascinating city I've seen after Rio de Janeiro in Brasil - enjoy it, son !

I took this photo with my small Nikon Coolpix L110 a while ago. I like playing with it occasionally to see how it compares to my big cameras. I really liked the way the moon looked behind these limbs. Not bad for a point and shoot.
