Carl Zeiss Jena Biotar 58mm f2, red T preset. It is not the one with highest esteem or value, but if you want to have only one Biotar, this one is recommanded. In terms of sharpness and contrast it is as good as any other version of biotar. With its 12 blades in iris it could be used closed a little bit for additional sharpness on subject and still produce quite smooth bokeh with round balls.
It is cheaper than earlier version.
I could understand why it was loved more than semi automatic one in times of film cameras. Semi automatic one has that clunky and not really practical semi-automatic release of iris, but with digital cameras that is less of the issue as it is usually not used at all.
With bit bluish and muted colors on cloudy day, it preserves well sombre atmoshere of late November
