c2c 357009 departs Upminster with 2F22 London Fenchurch Street to Shoeburyness. On the rear is 357012. 27/11/17.
The Consett to Sunderland cycle path forms part of the C2C cycle way ( I have done this a few times, it's a lovely ride) which runs from Whitehaven to Sunderland. It's a slight incline all the way to Consett, as you can see this cyclist is taking a little rest. The railway line that used to run along here used to transport iron ore to the steel works at Consett.

The Beamish Shorthorns, constructed from scrap metal and tractor parts, contentedly graze by the side of the Consett and Sunderland railway path (part of the C2C cycle route). The artist’s workshop was an old train shed overlooking a field of rust-coloured shorthorns, which became her muse. By Sally Matthews 1990.
One of the C2C class 357 emus runs ecs through platform 10a at Stratford.
Not sure if theses units come through here on regular basis apart from when there is engineering work at London Fenchurch Street but it was bound for Ilford.
C2C hire in 387306 stops at Theale station working 1209 2K35 Newbury to Reading local stopping service . It’s a shame the 3rd coach has received graffiti whilst on hire .. 25/5/21
387302 was also out on the Reading - Newbury stoppers whilst 387301 sat spare on Reading TCD
National Express c2c 357316 departs Limehouse working 2D33 Southend Central to London Fenchurch Street. 1 Canada Square (Canary Wharf) can also be seen to the right of the image! 24/06/16.
c2c 'Electrostar' 357013 arrives into Upminster with 357018 on the rear, forming 9B27 Shoeburyness to London Liverpool Street. On weekends, two trains an hour from Shoeburyness are diverted into London Liverpool Street for them to stop at Stratford, for Westfield Shopping Centre. 25/11/17.

367008 is in the livery of the Childrens Cancer Charity Golden Geese. 357008 has left Chalkwell with a Southend Central to London Fenchurch Street service.
A six-car train of London Underground D Stock (with DM car 7015 leading) approaches West Ham with a District Line service to Upminster.
The photo was taken from the National Rail (c2c) platforms with a 200mm lens (equivalent to a 300mm on a full-frame or 35mm film camera).

During a spell of glorious Autumnal sunshine, c2c 357034 is seen passing alongside the River Thames at Chalkwell with 2D41, the 1450, Southend Central to London Fenchurch Street.

ARRIVA Buses Wales Dennis Dart SLF / Plaxton Pointer 2342 - V572 DJC has made the move from City to Coast and here it sets off from Rhyl on route 51 to Dinbych (Denbigh). This bus has spent all its working life based at the Chester depot of Arriva Cymru, which is in fact located at Manor Lane in Wales, but has now swapped its previous life for a new existence by the sea.
