During the period 3-5 September the Egyptian International Air Show was held at El Alamein International Airport. The airport is on the north coast of Egypt about one hours flying from Cairo. This is the first time such a show has been held at this venue and resembles similar to events held at say Dubai . A mixture of Military and civil aircraft on static and flying demos. A large exhibition Hall containing various aviation related companies, whilst outside a excellent collection of seldom seen Egyptian Air force aircraft and other countries from around the world, including China. Each day, display teams from India, Saudi Arabia, China and the Egyptian Silver Stars team plus solo items meant seldom was the no flying activity.
A professional well organised event led to good attendance.
Portuguese🇵🇹 Air Force introducing a new special livery for C-295M, commemorating the 70th Anniversary of the 502 Squadron, known as the "Elefantes".
