Seen here on 16th May 2021 is Austin Maestro HLS C197 DFC, one of the higher end specs of this model. New on 15th August 1985, the vehicle was last MOT'd in August 2020 on 112,000 miles and is finished in a fairly unappealing brown colour scheme. It appears a few times on Flickr attending car shows, so is presumably owned by an enthusiast.

Ford Transit C197 KBH was one of a batch first purchased to inaugurate 'Buzza' minibus services in Leighton Buzzard. They originally carried an orange colour scheme, which was later replaced by the white and blue of 'Hoppanstopper' as seen here while the vehicle was in use as a driver's mess / shuttle vehicle at Watford Junction Station circa 1992.

Sadly this C197 Gullwing Mercedes is not being produced anymore but thankfully its new successor the C190 starts production in Sindelfingen Stuttgart soon. The new C190 successor will compete with the Porsche 911 directly and will lose the distinctive Gullwing doors.
