At Lisbon, September 1981. Scanned from an old print. This was only a few weeks before its sale to Philippine Airlines as RP-C1241. Its next owner was TAME in Ecuador but unfortunately as HC-BLF it crashed on 28 January 2002, just below the summit of Cumbal Volcano, near the city of Tulcán, Colombia, 35 km north of Colombia - Ecuador border, after operating flight 120 from Quito. All 92 on board were killed.
c/n 19692/498. At Stansted. New to Transair Sweden as SE-DDB in 1967. To Philippine Airlines as RP-C1241 in 1981 and to TAME as HC-BLF/FAE 692 in 1984. Crashed in Colombia in 2002.
Seen here recently transferred from Winterstoke Road depot (WE) to Lawrence Hill (LH) is Bristol RELL6L / ECW 1241, AHU 735J. She was new in June 1971, and withdrawn in August 1983, for scrap. She has not gained an LH allocation plate in this view, caught at Bristol Temple Meads while working an 8 between Temple Meads and Clifton. She displays the then-new lower case typeface used, which in this instance would not have been very legible from a distance... February 20th 1982.

Here's a link to all the pictures, so as to once again spare the
density of this Flickr album. Also, Ms. Meredith didn't want any
pictures of her (except the ones she approved), however, this one was
such an awesome shot, so I am taking the initiative to show it off
here. Hopefully she won't kill me...
