The 16th annual MSP Polar Bear Plunge, benefitting Special Olympics Maryland. Weather was a bit warm for January, but a cool breeze up the shoreline helped remind folk that it was, indeed, winter. A combination of adrenaline (and possibly beer) helped keep participants warm and mobile, with bystanders feeling a touch of cowardice as we quivered at the breeze and lapping waves. The police and security staff were fantastic, with spirits just as high as watchers and plungers alike.
