I hiked up a short grass lane that ended in front of this old barn that rests easy with memories of a time long past when it was young and relevant. There was no other building left on the site and only several leafless trees remained as winter approaches here in Minnesota. In the quietness I could hear the faint cries of children playing and the clanks of a farmer doing chores and then I realized the sounds were only in my mind.
The mountains are awakened by the gentle touch of the morning light.

I was following a flock of birds from around Mt.Fuji Interestingly, just as I was about to leave this frame, I felt the lead suddenly slow down.
Uno scatto nel giorno dell'equinozio di primavera, dello scorso anno... sulla suggestione del brano di Brian Eno.
With heartfelt and genuine thanks for your kind visit. Have a wonderful and beautiful day, be well, keep your eyes open, appreciate the beauty surrounding you, enjoy creating, stay safe and laugh often! ❤️❤️❤️
Passing by is the mood created here with the two models crossing paths and an earlier version was created in monotone which I think has a more nostalgic edge.
A lovely warm and windless evening by the lake. Fantastic, but the mosquitoes were busy doing their best to ruin the experience ...

Name Swap. Painted this in Vancouver, my last piece of 2010. I started this piece by doing a bit of a sketch and then going straight into background elements, which is usually the 3-4th step in my usual process. An outine or 3d didnt seem nessesary afterwards because of the detail and placement of my background. Its nice to mess with the order of process to get different results from time to time.
