Juvie Green Heron buzzes this Kingfisher's favorite perch.
The Kingfisher was not amused and buzzed the Heron a number of times: www.flickr.com/photos/earl_reinink/54721547207/in/datepos...
I'm buzzing off to sunnier climes for a few weeks so take care everyone & I'll catch up with you all when I return.
Oddity found at the Grocery Outlet- Butterfinger BUZZ- a huge, king sized bar with "as much caffeine as the leading energy drink". What could go wrong here?

Deadly Buzz, a local saying here in Ireland & as with most sayings, they usually mean the opposite. In this case, deadly buzz means a good time, the Irish are renowned for sayings loaded with sarcasm.
Now back to above, the first new Boeing 737Max (Max8-200 ) for Ryanair Poland subsidary Buzz, complete with bumble bee, SP-RZE was delivered from Boeing via Ryanair Dublin on the 3rd September 2021, having been stored in Seattle for some considerable time.
Deadly Buzz SP-RZE is seen leaving for its new home in Poland, operating flight RR801 at 12.00 hrs to Warsaw, Poland.
I just discovered that the Death Star Makes a pretty convincing Buzz Droid shell. I know it's not 100% accurate but it was the best I could do with the parts at hand.
A top down perspective on a busy bee. This is not cropped; it was taken with my 2x ultra macro lens. I could have gotten even closer, but at close quarters it's hard to get a steady shot. Also, I didn't want to tick off this hard worker.

to say Happy New Year!! You can see that Mr. Bee was caught partying hard :-)
Well....taken from the archives. I continue to work my way through my 2008 archives which was the year when I participated in the shot a day group (sorry!! I started my photostream over). I was ever so faithful to take a fresh shot every day and not just one........ I have learned to be much more selective about the shots I take --- and keep. Lots to wade through for 2008! I will be sharing some of those shots over the next couple of months.
I hope you all have a happy and healthy year ahead. You are all appreciated and valued. Thank you for your visits and friendship. Happy New Year to you all!
