Buzz Aldrin autographed his books "Magnificent Desolation" and "Look to the Stars" at the CR Smith museum in Fort Worth, TX.
Well, I had hoped to try some more ideas for forced perspective (although coming up with ideas was challenging!!!) but as usual ran out of time. I am choosing this one for my submission because I think it has the best focus on both Buzz and the moon (although Buzz is still a bit oof), and because his expression makes me laugh.
C.S. (Buzz) Holling, celebrated ecologist who first introduced the concept of resilience in ecological systems to describe their ability to resist and recover from natural and man-made disturbances and is renowned for his work on ecosystem and social dynamics.
Buzz is fostered by my Mum, but spent a few days at my house again....he is full of mischief and squeaks far more than any other guinea pig I've owned!
I have seen this around before, but I've never been able to take a picture. It is the Fleet Buzz maintenance van, a Ford Transit. Sorry it's a bit far away, but it'll have to do! Taken at Farnborough on 15/4/13.
You can see the mistakes, the beginner's screwups. I can.
Day one brings weirdness. My life has been a ride for the last five months. It wears on me, as it does to everyone. While I was at work, something inside me told me to take the trimmer and cut my hair the **** off. "Do it," it said, "Do it now!" But I had to wait.
I stepped into the bathroom, naked, terrified. I did the unthinkable, with little thought. I clip on the full-width trimmer, slide on the haircut attachment and slide it down to #6. I almost turn back, put it down, stop. Then, before I can convince myself this is a horrible idea, the switch is hit and a strip of hair comes off. The rest comes over the course of ten minutes or so, then I have a head full of 3/4" long hair.

It was a very lazy day for me and Paul which included breakfast in bed and not getting up till past midday. :-))))
After a trip to the supermarket for Sunday evening meal, we sat and watch Man Utd thrash Derby County in the FA Cup rounds. There was a controversial disallowed goal - the referrees were very late in putting up the flags. We then watched the draw for the next stage. Man Utd have got either Swansea City or Fulham away.
We made a beef roast meal (yum) and settled in for a few games of Buzz on the PS3. We played against each other, and decided to have a go of the online games - challenging either other people or trying games on My Buzz. Annoyingly the broadband connection kept failing so we didn't get to play any sofa to sofa games. Boo.
Finished the evening watching Celebrity Come Dine with Me (basically over the course of a week 4 celebrities cook a meal for 4 other celebrities and they all rate each other. The prize is £1000 for a charity of the winner's chosing) on C4+1.
Then watched Mission Impossible III which I hadn't seen before. Enjoyed the film. Can't say I'm a huge Tom Cruise fan (well apart from Top Gun but that's down to the Airforce uniforms and planes as well!) but he did look good in his black outfit! ;-)
