I think this Great Blue Heron thought it was about time to buzz the kayak. It made for a fun fly-by.
‘CITY BUZZ’ - JETSTAR Adelaide Airport
With a displaced threshold on the main runway (05/21), requires aircraft to be up early, or pull up to avoid the works zone. This also allows for an excellent backdrop as VH-OFW to get up earlier than normal and have the Adelaide CBD come into the frame!
JQ108 to Perth (PER/YPPH) and then to Denpasar Bali (DPS/WADD) passing the Sofitel and RAA Insurance, from 05 Adelaide Airport (ADL/YPAD).
This beehive is one of many creations which can currently be found around the village of Kilsby, Northamptonshire. Many colourful scenes have been created or 'yarn-bombed' to celebrate 100 years of their Women's Instutute.

Bombini Buzz, Cafe, Southbank.
The shape of this reminds me of Melbourne's 'The Vault Sculpture' (nicknamed Yellow Peril) the-vault-sculpture.

Getting buzzed by an RC helicopter in Sao Joao del Rei, MG, Brazil.
It was all fun and games until I threatened to swat the damn thing out of the air.
With a long train of Wisconsin Electric Power hoppers, one Chicago & North Western and two CSX EMD’s roll through the hilly farmland at Buzz, Pennsylvania. The two CSX/one CNW power combination was one that was on every WEPX train that I witnessed on the Monongahela, most likely approximating the ratio of mileage division between the two roads. It was not unusual for the MGA to add a fourth unit at West Brownsville.
Deadly Buzz, a local saying here in Ireland & as with most sayings, they usually mean the opposite. In this case, deadly buzz means a good time, the Irish are renowned for sayings loaded with sarcasm.

Nothing too exciting or eventful to report on today; it was an average day around the office that passed by without much notice.
Although the chaos of last week has passed, I still managed to find myself quite tired by the time the day came to an end.
Happily though; the bees were buzzing and made for simple photography today; I even had the wrong lens with me while I was shooting and still managed a decent insect shot.
I'm much too used to working with my 40mm and have been trying to ween myself off of it. As amazing as that lens is, I do need to venture out and practice with some of my other gear... once in a while.
Anyway, hope everyone has had a good day.

Yesterday this Scarab looking bug flew right by my head. It’s January, we have had warm weather and he landed on our rug on the front porch.
