Please do the right thing and contact me in advance if you wish to discuss the use or reuse of my images and provide a link to my originals. I would also ask that I be given a "first look" at any 7Up UnCola billboards or posters before you market them to the general public in return for my extensive investment in time, money and research, including interviewing some of the surviving artists. Thanks, and enjoy. - - -

1970 21'x10' 7Up UnCola "Buy A Merry Can" vintage billboard poster by Jacqui Morgan #7Upvintage #BuyAMerryCan #BuyAmerican "Canvenience For All"
This is Design 70-7 per the rainlap diagram on the rear of top left Panel A1 (= 7th 7Up UnCola billboard issued in 1970).
21'x10' vintage billboard acquired in MINT, New Old Stock (NOS) condition. It consists of 12 panels at 43" wide x 59" tall. I was able to reinforce all 12 panels with with minimal clear, acid-free scrapbooking tape on the back (only).
This is TWO-OF-A-KIND as I only know of one other billboard, but no smaller posters in any other size at this time.

I spoke with her on the phone in about 2012 about this image, but she didn't have any copies of the artwork in her own possession.
Jacqui Morgan and this image are featured on pages #7 & 8 in a small American Contemporary Graphics booklet from about 1971-72:

"Canvenience For All"
This booklet was gratiously presented to me by Pat Dypold to help identify the artists and showcase some previously unknown illustrations that are now re-discovered. There are 3 billboard images that were totally new to me in this booklet, bringing the total number of confirmed 7Up UnCola billboards to 53, and counting. Check back soon to see a slide show/video running through them in more or less chronological order.
Issue #1 of the Simpson Lee "Dimensions" quarterly was issued in the Spring of 1962. Assuming that there were no interruptions, this issue #47 would be the Fall 1973 edition. Each beautiful issue was devoted to one or more topics of interest to the graphics professionals that bought paper from this company. In this case, the entire booklet concentrated on the paper 7Up UnCola billboards orchestrated by the J. Walter Thompson [advertising] Company of Chicago (the Midwest Mad Men). The paper only lasted about 30 days outdoors so new images replaced old ones on a frequent basis.
There is at least one discrepancy noted to date. Roger Chouinard has confirmed that he did "The Island Of Pure Refreshment" image on page 19 although an "i" is missing from his name. Several other artist attributions are also incorrect per Pat. Her husband, Bob Taylor (the art director at JWT and primary creative force behind the campaign), did the "Un Un And Away" (blimp) on page 4 (not Ed George). Bob's style was very "cartoony" while Ed's is much less so. The same applies to a similar "The Youth Fare" (bi-plane) image that is not in this booklet. On page 6 Bob Mitchell is listed as the artist of "Un With The Show" while I've been told is was by Ray Lyle.
