When I told you I live in a concrete block apartment building you probably didn't picture something like this did you sweetie.
According to the building's documentation for the National Register of Historic Places, the funny cornice was reconstructed circa 2014, as the building was being converted to apartments, to replace the original cornice, which was removed in the 1960s.
The "Peterson Paper Co." painting is intended to trick people into thinking that such businesses still exist in the U.S.

I wanted to crash my car into the building, but when I saw its lineup of protective bollards I decided I wouldn't even bother to try.
According to Google Streetview, the "MOVED TO 6145 SEWELLS PT RD" message was installed sometime between March 2019 and September 2022. Maybe it was during the pandemic. In 2019 the sign read "WE NOW TAKE IN GAS POWERED EQUIPMENT."

Everybody knows what pine trees look like, so there is no need for the sign to feature a cute illustration of a pine tree.
Ah the price of gas, $3.25 regular, $3.69 super, everybody is constantly worried about it.

The canopy recalls the architecture of strip clubs. It is thought not to be necessary to include an area code with the phone number: This is Wichita Falls and you already know what the area code is. Stars are not often gray.
The building is from 1950. According to historical roadside and satellite imagery at Google Streetview and Google Earth, the canopy structure was completed sometime between February 2018 and May 2020.
The absence of protective bollards around the support piers of the canopy is an invitation to motorists to spectacularly crash their cars into them.
