This is Nathan. We met him at the bus stop, and he was thrilled to meet us. His mother is an artist one town over, and he's going to tell her about Olive's gallery. His dad drove by in an ambulance while we stood there. He likes club music, but I gave him a copy of Legends of Et cetera's CD. When I told him how many followers they have on FB, he was excited. He thinks you're something else, Serena! To have an album out when you were just in high school? He thought it was great. I didn't take his picture until I got on the bus, and he waved. Super cool and friendly kid.
An interesting bus times information sign up in the bus shelter at the Saddle stop in Blackpool. Stagecoach route 61 passes this stop while working out of Blackpool towards Preston. Notice that the Monday-Friday and Saturday times at the top and the middle of the sign show the times for buses heading to Preston, which is correct for this stop. However the Sunday times at the bottom show times for buses heading into Blackpool only. Not good if your wanting to travel on a Sunday to Preston. Which is just what I was waiting to do when I took this picture.
I don't like tagging, but I'm not entirely opposed to street art more generally, and this just begged for me to take a photo of it. I just hope I can put it on the map properly.
I'm pretty sure this is the tree that had a bus stop growing out of it. Who removed the sign, and why, I'm not sure...
