Omnitrans has launched its exclusive travel training bus which will be used for community outreach to help educate people in new rider basics. Features of the new bus include video screens, a PA system and new fare box.
This hands-on training tool will allow people to experience firsthand what they can expect when boarding a bus for the first time and help ease the anxiety that sometimes accompanies new riders.
The training bus and outreach trainer are available by request to local community groups including seniors, students and those with special needs.

Stagecoach Yorkshire Dennis Enviro 200 / Alexander Enviro 200MMC YX65 PZV (26020), in Town 11 c/s, passing through Barnsley bus station, 30/01/16
This bus is a Volvo B10L with Alexander Ultra body, on the route 301 going to Walsall Bus Station. The body was desined by Säffle which was part of Volvo. This type of bus used to CNG fuel but now they use diesel fuel. They are getting old now, and half of these in the fleet are now training buses.
Used by London Buses on the Rouknd London Sightseeing Tour is former Bournemouth Corporation DMO3 (CRU 184C), former Bournemouth 184. A Weymann bodied Daimler Fleetline, it is seen at the Showbus Rally at Ensignbus, Grays
Roll the drums & curtains closing for route 19 from Finglas to Bulfin Road as it falls victim to Network Direct changes this weekend ( Sunday 28th August 2011 ) & is no more.
The 19 & 19A have been a sort of urban legend, well known & seen up n down O'Connell Street, but their meanderings once off the premier strasse are only known to the seasoned bus travellers. From their spurs off each other after Phibsboro northbound, they gyrated equally confusingly on the southside, so their cutting & tweaking this weekend was a logical process, after years of political & community interference.
With falling numbers, confusion & relics of the past, both the 19 & 19A will become part of folklore.
Dennis Trident DT 7 is seen heading to Inchicore when the route was briefly operated by Broadstone Garage.
2408 (V408ENC) is one of three DAF SB220/Alexander ALX300s which have recently arrived at Green Lane to replace Ultralows. These have in turn been seen off at Speke depot by new double decker Wright Geminis. Having been repainted and internally refreshed, 2408 is seen here on 9 duties. Photo taken on 21/11/11.
